The Aura information hub is a glowing guidepost in the landscape primed for the revelers of Northern Spark. Straddling the line between art and architecture, this temporary intervention resuscitates the brutal boxes contemporary culture has scraped of all embellishment. In my quest to re-romanticize architectural design, I work with corrugated plastics, elevating the medium from crude fort construction into intricately designed, flowing, organic forms. Using my own specialized CNC knife-cutting machine, which will be simulated within the info hub, I’m able to manipulate these materials to create exotic forms and wearable creatures.
