Field Practice, Green Market Movers
It takes a lot of optimism to grow plants when the world’s fate is uncertain.
It takes a lot of optimism to grow plants when the world’s fate is uncertain. Green Market Movers come from a future where nature is a commodity, and they are unloading seeds to heal the earth.
In this imagined (yet all-too-plausible) future scenario, the natural landscape is overtaken by pollution, resource extraction, and climate change until true wilderness is nothing but a faded memory. A back-alley “green market” has emerged to serve those who still yearn for forests and prairies, and those who are secretly working to rebuild the lost environment by propagating its seeds and cultivating its spirit.
Come see their operation, and try to recall the way nature used to be. Green Market Movers will trade you good seeds for good intentions. So, what do you want to grow?

Field Practice is an interdisciplinary art and design collaboration focusing on interactive spaces for collective healing. Using temporary architecture, sensory landscapes, and spatial sound projects, we confront social and environmental upheaval with healing techniques and mindfulness practice as strategies for survival. We are Jess Hirsch, Andrew Jansen, and Emily Stover.
